WORK EXPERIENCE

Anim8 Studios in Auckland, New Zealand, doing traditional animation for Disney's “Dave the Barbarian”. During this time I worked after my animation classes in a Disney studio doing key, inbetweening and clean up drawings. I was at this job until the series finished and the studio closed down.

(Current) Freelance Animation – Working as a freelance artist for clients. I have done this off and on over the last few years, working in multiple areas from corporate advertisements, animated logos for the beginning of business videos and magazine adverts.

(Current) Optus Account Management - While I have been working as a freelance artists, developing my art skills and gaining experience I have worked at two different call centers. Slingshot in New Zealand and currently Optus in Melbourne central. While these rolls are in no way tied to the art work, I love to do they have helped me develop good team work skills as well as the mindset to adapt to given challenges and situations that arise. I deal with hundreds of people daily in regards to their accounts, which means I need to have good communication skills to help someone with no knowledge of a given subject and completely understand the specific process they will need to follow.
